Happy Nurses’ Week 2026

May 6, 2026

Dear ONA34 Members,

On behalf of ONA34, I am proud to extend warm wishes to each of you for a very Happy Nurses Week. This year’s Nurses Week theme, “Experts in care, Fighting for Change” speaks directly to the impact you make every single day. Registered Nurses, Registered Nurse First Assists, and Nurse Practitioners are the backbone of our healthcare system. You are experts in providing excellent patient care, advocating for patients, and holding the system together even in the most challenging circumstances. Your work and advocacy are not only essential, but also transformative.

We recognize that the demands on RNs, RNFAs, and NPs continue to grow, and yet you continue to show up with professionalism, strength, and unwavering commitment to patient care. Please know that your work and dedication are deeply respected and valued, not only during Nurses Week, but every single week of the year.

Your voices, your expertise, and your solidarity are what define our profession and strengthen our union. As a token of appreciation, ONA34 is pleased to be providing Nurses Week gifts to members on the following dates and sites:
